Fitting For Tube

Characteristics Eu-Tek tube fittings’ performance is extremely high when assembled properly.
There is low dead volume thereby decreasing changes for particle entrapment and bacterial growth.
Tube pressure performance will vary according to tube size and temperature. (Fig .1)

Eu-Tek Tube fittings assembly is completed by heating and flaring the end of the PFA type with the nut slipped over the tubing.
This is accomplished with a special shaping mandrel
(available from the factory as us)
Operating Specifications
After the tube cools from the flaring step, the nut with tube is placed over fitting nipple and hand tightened.

Retightening
All fittings connections assembled using the room temperature flaring technique should be retightened to the nut torque values identified in bellow Table.
